The meeting was held in Varazdin, the cultural and administrative center of northwestern Croatia. Varazdin is an old charming baroque city located close to the Hungarian, Slovenian, and Austrian borders. In 18th century Varazdin was the capital of Croatia. Today, in Varazdin are active many cultural institutions, theater, chamber orchestra, galleries, museums, and institutions which belong to the University of Zagreb.
